3D printing in Hamilton, Ohio

We are a three-person print shop in Hamilton, Ohio. Send us a file and a person checks that it will print, then sends one clear price. Or pick something from the shop and collect it from the workshop.

What we print

How a quote works

  1. Send your file. STL, OBJ, 3MF, STEP or a ZIP of them. Up to 10 files, 250 MB each.
  2. We check and price it. A person makes sure it will print, then sends one clear price.
  3. You approve. Nothing is charged until you say go.

No file? Describe what you need. We remix and rescale existing models, fix files that will not slice, and design parts that do not exist yet.

Materials

We print in PLA, PETG, ABS, TPU, Standard resin. Filament runs on a Bambu Lab X1 Carbon for parts that have to be tough; resin runs on a HeyGears Reflex RS Turbo for the fine detail. If you are not sure which suits the job, tell us what the part has to do and we will pick.

Pickup and delivery

Shop orders can be collected free from our workshop in Hamilton. Choose local pickup on the payment page and we email you when your order is packed; reply to arrange a time. Everything else ships anywhere in the United States for a flat $5.99 per order, however many items are in it. Custom jobs carry the shipping stated on their quote.

Most shop orders leave the workshop in three to five business days. A custom job's lead time is on its quote.

Questions people ask

What files can I send?

STL, OBJ, 3MF and STEP, up to 10 files of 250 MB each. Zip archives are fine for multi-part models. A person opens every file before you are charged anything.

Can you print a part I do not have a file for?

Often, yes. Send photos and measurements through the contact form and we will tell you whether we can model it and what that costs.

What if my print arrives damaged?

We reprint it free. Start a return within fourteen days of delivery and attach a photo. You do not need an account.

Who am I dealing with?

The people who run the machines. There is no support tier: whoever answers your email is one of the three people doing the work. 3D Hobbies is operated by Attuned Ventures LLC.
